Ema is a professional dancer, trainer and juror who specialises in Latin and Standard dances. She is the holder of the highest dance classes and coach and juror license from the Czech Dance Sports Association. Ema has been dancing for more than 12 years and has been teaching for seven years in total. She has both experience with teaching children and adults, beginners and competitive couples.
Among other things, you could see Ema in the 9th Stardance, where she was part of the Mikolas Josef’s dance group. Or in the 10th Stardance as a company of dance couples Karel Kovy Kovář with Veronika Lišková or Jakub Vágner with Michaela Nováková. Currently, Ema is a semi-finalist of the Czech Republic's 10-dance championship and a quarter-finalist of the Latin Championship.
From the age of eight, Štěpán has been dancing sports ballroom dancing, ie standard and Latin. His dance successes to date include multiple final placements at the Czech Under-21 Championships in standard, Latin American dances and combinations, or third place at an international competition in Paris or a semifinal in Ljubljana, Slovenia. At the U21 World Championships in 10 dances, he reached 30th place. He continues his active sports career.
He has been coaching for about 8 years and has trained his charges to the gates of the finals at the Championships, among other things. As a coach, he is accommodating and teaches a lesson tailored to the situation. It emphasizes the proper involvement of muscles and the therapeutic function of dance. Apart from all the above, he mainly enjoys movement and a sense of humor, so you never get bored at his lesson. He tries to pass on the joy of movement to the children, because he sees it as one of the most beneficial things (not) just for them. In adult dance, it emphasizes the need to dance a lot. Finally, we can mention what he often says: "no one is wood enough to learn to dance, he just needs some time and everyone can dance great"
